Meet Ruby
WHO
I am a Sandpoint native who found a love for movement and the human body at an early age. I became an LMT in 2020 and in 2024 I went on to complete my 200 hr YTT. I have a deep love for learning (especially when it comes to the mind body connection) and often find myself reaching more information and inspiration; whether that be in the massage space or yoga studio.
WHAT
Intentional, nurturing, and intuitive are a few words I would use to describe my class style. Whether it be a slow flow or a vinyasa my intention is to create an environment that encourages those practicing to drop in, gather information, and hopefully feel good within their own body. My classes are often focused around nervous system regulation; incorporating breath work and mindfulness along with strong intentional movement.
WHY
My journey with yoga originally started with grief. I have always loved movement, but I knew in order to process my grief and move through it I would need more of a somatic experience. I love yoga because not only are we taking intentional time for the body, but for the nervous system and soul as well. It is a deeply personal practice and for myself; it is something that impacts the way I aspire to move through the world on a day to day basis: with breath, curiosity, and intention.
