Grounded Restorative Yoga

Low Intensity

A radical reset for your nervous system. This class is entirely floor-based, utilizing supportive props to hold the body in passive postures for extended periods. All levels welcome. The use of grounding mats is optional.

Grounded Yin Yoga

Low Intensity

Long holds of passive poses is what makes Yin special. Classes are relaxing, meditative, insightful, and sometimes paired by story-telling, bits and pieces of yogic philosophy, or sounds. In yin everything tells a story: your body, the teacher, and the playlist. Each class is a unique, never to be repeated again, experience that focuses on releasing the fascia, relaxing the body, and softening the soul. The use of grounding mats is optional.

Fascia Flow

Low-Mod Intensity

This is a mix of intention, breath, and movement. We will release tensions restricting our bodies movements and bodily functions. Over time and with consistency, performing these maneuvers can eradicate pain and initiate healing in every aspect of the body. This is a free form class, usually moving about the studio space. Dressing in looser clothing helps you readily access your skin around area of joints and muscles for "fascia pinning & locking". You will learn how to release your Fascia through proper hand positions on your body. This class is designed for everyone, and it can take place on the deck (wether permitting). This is a fantastic cross training way to feel better in your body.

Slow Flow Yoga

Moderate Intensity

During a Slow Flow class, we get to approach poses in more stages and with more time than in a usual Vinyasa class. We still move through the waves of Vinyasa, but we add more intention and awareness to each breath. Great for those who are new to Yoga, the extra time spent in each pose gives you the opportunity to arrive, modify, and embody the practice. Safe for pregnancy, each class is different resulting in a fun, relaxing yet somewhat challenging yoga flow. During the summer months, the 7am class takes place on the deck (weather permitting).
