Meet Jamie
WHO
I am a Yoga Alliance–certified yoga teacher with over a decade of experience and 2,000+ teaching hours. I specialize in biomechanics and hyper-mobility. In addition to teaching group classes I also teach anatomy and physiology for yoga teacher trainings and work one-on-one as a movement coach. With certifications in functional movement, biomechanics, and strength training, I bring a deep, evidence-informed understanding to my movement teaching.
WHAT
My movement guidance style focuses on facilitating compassion, curiosity, and agency. Slow yoga and joint mobility are my favorite classes to teach because I think we all need to slow down with these precious vessels that carry our lives. My hope for my class is that you feel welcomed and accepted just as you are, and leave feeling calmer and more centered.
WHY
The practice of yoga has held me through joy and grief and everything in between. One of my mentors says, "When you find something good, give it away." That is why I teach.
