Meet Ashley

WHO

I got my yoga teacher certification at The Yoga Garden in 2015 that specialized in anatomy-based vinyasa. Since then, I’ve taught at many different studios and specially enjoyed teaching chair yoga for the local hospital.

WHAT

I teach a high energy power yoga class with fun flows that have a strong balance between breath, movement, flow and holding postures. I love using vocal cues to help guide my students through each posture and flow. My hope is for everyone to feel powerful, confident, safe and feel love in my classes.

WHY

I decided to become a yoga instructor after beginning consistent yoga classes during college and it completely changed my life. I found a type of healing and community that I had never before known. It helped me work through my darkest days and made the bright days even brighter! I thought, what could be better than sharing this gift with others and the community I love?, and decided to deepen my practice by doing my teacher training. My passion is high energy power yoga flows, I love to balance building strength and flexibility with breath. I look forward to continuing to build this community of yogis and share the love.

A SIDE NOTE

I’m extremely excited to have the opportunity to merge my two favorite things: yoga and dogs! Be sure to come to my “yoga and adopt” events, where you can flow with some adoptable dogs from our local shelter!
