Meet Anne
WHO
I have been practicing yoga since 2006. I took my 200hr teacher training at Kripalu Center in 2011, spent six months in India shortly after, & then received my 500 hr TT in 2012. I was a full time yoga teacher for 7 years; I helped lead teacher trainings and mentored other teachers. Yoga was my everything! I then became a licensed massage therapist and took a break from the teaching role to focus on my personal practice. I am now reawakening the teacher within!
WHAT
I hope to provide a sacred space for people to be able to truly connect with their bodies for at least that one hour a day. I hope within that space people can feel more alive, more energy, and a sense of connection to their nervous system and the earth. I teach slower and mindful asana practices - I like getting into a state of 'flow' with an element of personal reflection.
WHY
I never planned on being a yoga teacher. I was simply interested and intrigued by the philosophy, history, and practice of yoga that I began to study it deeply. The discipline of Yoga made sense to me and it gave me the template to be a better person and become aware of my Self and my patterns. Once I dove so deeply into the practice and had my 500 hr, I felt it was my duty to share it! I continue to practice Yoga because it feels like home.
