Meet Ann

WHO

I began practicing yoga in my 50s. At 60, I completed Yoga Teacher Training at We Yoga in Sandpoint and I’ve been teaching ever since. I have completed additional trainings from Yoga Medicine in the Nervous System and Restorative Yoga and Trauma – Informed Yoga.

WHAT

I teach a yoga flow meant to be accessible, mindful, and restorative. My goal in every class is to provide a means for the student to gather themselves unto themselves; to inhabit and remember their bodies as a place of rest, clarity, and safety.

WHY

The body is replete with wisdom. The sensations experienced in yoga are the body’s invitation to listen, to be curious, and to come home. Yoga quiets the mind. It replaces the endless distractions with calm focus and truthful understanding. This is why I practice and teach yoga. Please join me! I would love to welcome you here!
